This week’s issue covers the rededication of the diocese and the individual consecration of the faithful to Mary. The Mass on Aug. 15 was followed by a Marian procession and the launching of the Festival of Faith, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Bishop Rhoades celebrated Mass and blessed the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish educational wing. Pope Francis visited Korea on a pilgrimage trip. St. Francis Xavier Parish Pierceton celebrated its 150th anniversary on Aug. 17.
