Topic: Body & Soul
Speaker: Beth Hlabse
On Tuesday, February 11th, join us as Beth Hlabse leads us in exploring the integral connection between body and soul, and how our physical well-being impacts our mental, emotional, and spiritual lives. We will also explore cultivating healthy habits that align with God’s design for
our lives. Learning to care for our body is not only an act of self-care but also an act of nurturing our souls. Furthermore, rejecting negative views of the body allows us to embrace its goodness as part of God’s creation. We will conclude with the hope and significance of the resurrection, the impact of social media on our mental and emotional health, and offering practical insights for
navigating this modern challenge. This talk will emphasize the goodness of the body, self-care, and living virtuously in alignment with God’s design.

Topic: Intimacy & Commitment
Speaker: Father Zane Langenbrunner
On Tuesday, February 18th, Father Zane Langenbrunner will discuss the divine link between intimacy and commitment, not only in romantic relationships but in all vocations. Many seek intimacy without the responsibility of commitment, erring from God’s design for genuine,
faithful relationships. By embracing commitment, we open ourselves to vulnerability in a prudent, meaningful way, in all relationships. In today’s world, technology has complicated this, often allowing us to interact virtually in ways that lack depth and true connection, detracting
from the communal life we were designed for. By consciously choosing commitment, we find healing in relationships where Christ is present, reflecting God as a communion of persons. In honoring this design, we live in the image of God, building communities grounded in love as intended by God.

Every aspect of the weekend is prayerfully discerned to create an ambience of “openness.”
Everything is stripped down to be simple yet lovely. To let the beauty of love – from the One who loves you most – shine through every action, every class and every word surrounding the retreat.
Team tries to anticipate any needs you may have while on site and provide for those needs, so that you can truly let go and be open to His Will for your time with Him.
Our goal is to illuminate paths previously traveled by Saints in order to give you tangible next steps to take home with you. Methods to apply to your real world life to help you be as open as possible to His Will; to be moved to action in His name.
Wherever you are on your personal Ephphatha journey, we are here to help you be opened further & moved farther.

Topic: Time & Eternity
Speaker: Rachel Meixner
On Tuesday, February 25th, Rachel Meixner will guide us in reflecting on the grace of the present moment as a profound source of healing for both body and soul. By embracing our present reality, we open up to Christ’s healing presence—He is here with us in each moment,
transcending time and transforming our lives. We may carry burdens and anxieties presented by the present world, but we are called not to be paralyzed by the past or future. In the light of the Resurrection, we are offered new life, and through God’s grace, we find freedom and healing that enables us to live fully present in the light of eternity.
