Using Scripture, Tradition, and his own life experiences, including a near-death experience, Bob Kloska will reflect on the great gift of the Eucharistic mystery, the transforming role it has played in his own life, and the practical steps you can take to become a “Eucharistic Evangelist” regardless of your talents or temperament.
Bob Kloska is a husband and father of five adult children. A former seminarian, he spent over 20 years in Catholic education as a high school teacher, college professor, and director of campus ministry and RCIA. Starting in 2003, he has experienced three separate occurrences of cancer which has led to chemotherapy, radiation, 2 stem cell transplants, 30 surgeries, a heart attack, three coronary stents, two incurable viruses, chronic blood issues, and countless hospitalizations and outpatient IV treatments. You may read some of his reflections in Franciscan University’s Catechetical Review and on his personal blog. Currently employed by Notre Dame Federal Credit Union as Chief Partnership Officer, Kloska is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Franciscan University of Steubenville (M.A. Philosophy). Since 1991, he has been a daily communicant.
