St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Elkhart presents a performance of the Requiem by French Romantic composer Gabriel Fauré. The 40-member community choir and orchestra are made up of talented musicians from Catholic parishes throughout Elkhart, Goshen, Mishawaka and South Bend, under the direction of Brad Todorovich. The evening will begin with Evening Prayer for the Dead, offered for the benefit of the poor souls in Purgatory. Admission is free, but there will be a freewill offering taken in support of future musical events. All are welcome to come hear a masterwork of church music and to have an extra opportunity to pray for your deceased loved ones this All Souls’ Day!
