St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Rd. will offer Taize prayer, Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. in the church. Taize Prayer is composed of songs that originated in the tiny French Village of Taize. These songs, known throughout the world, have led Christians of all languages to a pathway of prayer. The repetition of the text and music takes us to the heart of the mystery of prayer, for prayer is not something that can be explained — it arises when individuals open themselves to God’s love together, in an atmosphere of simple trust.
