Conference on nonviolence planned

Victory Noll Center will host a two-day regional conference Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29 at Huntington Church of the Nazarene, 1555 Flaxmill Rd. The conference, called “Blessed are the Peacemakers,” will examine Jesus’ call for nonviolence and alternative methods of engagement. Special guests John Dear, Ken Butigan and Kit Evans-Ford from Pace e Bene will facilitate discussion and training. Attendees will spend both days in workshops and will have the opportunity to explore the exhibit hall offerings from local vendors.
