This week’s Today’s Catholic covers the groundbreaking and blessing at St. Pius X Parish in Granger. The parish embarked on a new church. Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades was one of the speakers addressing the “Voices of Young Catholic Women” talk at the Madeleva Lecture at Saint Mary’s College. Bishop Rhoades addresses the Good Shepherd in this week’s In Truth and Charity column. Cardinal Francis George died April 17 after a battle with cancer. Discerning one’s vocation is the topic for our World Day of Prayer for Vocations, which the Church celebrates this Sunday.
