2014 Winter Series: Purifying our Passions in Pursuit of Holiness
Fr. Brian Bunkle, SJ was ordained a priest of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit) religious order in 2009. He holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from Boston College and is currently pursuing a PhD in historical theology at the University of Notre Dame. He has published a book “Poems on Scripture,” a translation of St. Gregory Nazianzen’s poetry on encountering Christ in the Bible. Father Brian has spoken around the country at “Hearts on Fire” retreats for young adults, including the retreat in South Bend in 2011, a well as at our local young adult Lenten Mini-Retreat in 2013.
