This week, the diocese welcomed Mark Myers as the new superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. Bishop John D’Arcy has contributed a pastoral reflection to America magazine about the University of Notre Dame controversy when it granted a honorary law degree to President Barack Obama this past spring. Queen of Peace Parish and diocesan Vocation Office are working together to promote events for the Year for Priests in the diocese. They will be offering a special button in addition to the spiritual bouquet offered for priests on the Web site.
