Catholic School Mission Day gathers diocesan teachers

The 2015 Catholic School Mission Day for Catholic school teachers was held at Saint Joseph High School in South Bend on Oct. 8, and at Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne on Oct. 9. Both days’ included Mass celebrated by Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades, service awards and Education for Ministry graduate certificates and keynote address by Father Joe Kempf titled, “The Blessed Mess Called ‘Family.” Above, Paula Murphy, a third-grade teacher from St. Vincent de Paul School, Fort Wayne, receives her 30-year service award from Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades, and takes a “selfie” photo with Bishop Rhoades to remember the moment.
