Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades is the 9th Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. He was ordained a priest in 1983, ordained the Bishop of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 2004, and installed as our bishop in 2010. Bishop Rhoades served as a professor and then rector of Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland from 1995 to 2004. He has been active on several committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), presently serving on the USCCB Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life, and Youth and as a consultant to the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities.
