Msgr. John Fritz FSSP is a member of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP), a community of Roman Catholic priests who celebrate and promote the Traditional Latin Mass. He went to Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary, earned a Licentiate in Theology through the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC, and eventually became the Chancellor of the Diocese of Rockford, Illinois. After years of celebrating the ordinary rite in English, Msgr. Fritz was drawn to the extraordinary rite in Latin and joined the FSSPs. His current assignment is Pastor of St. Stanislaus Church in South Bend, a personal parish for anyone desiring to belong to the Latin Mass community.
