Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades is the 9th Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. He was ordained a priest in 1983, ordained the Bishop of Harrisburg, PA in 2004, and installed as our bishop in 2010. Bishop Rhoades served as a professor and then rector of Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland from 1995 to 2004. He is active on several committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), serving as a member of the USCCB Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life, and Youth and as chair of the USCCB Task Force on Catholic Health Care. Bishop Rhoades has also been appointed by the Vatican as co-chair of the International Theological Dialogue of the Catholic and Reformed Churches.
