Saint Joseph and Marian battle on the soccer field
Tuesday Sept. 5, 2017 Marian and St. Joseph played soccer at St. Patrick’s Park in South Bend. Marian is ranked #1 in the IHSAA 2a ranking poll. St. Joseph is ranked #5 in the IHSAA 2a poll. Marian won the game 1-0. The lone goal was made by Marian’s Johnathan Tavarez. Johnathan kicked the goal from a free kick pass from Juan Botello.
