Bishop Rhoades confers sacrament of confirmation to children in Nigeria
Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades is traveling with Father Francis Chukwuma to the Dioceses of Awka and Nnewi in Nigeria for their priesthood ordinations. On Sunday, July 10, he had the privilege of confirming 99 children at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Ozubulu in the Diocese of Nnemi. The Bishop of Nnemi, Bishop Jonas Benson Okoye, as well as Father Francis Chukwuma concelebrated. Through this sacrament of confirmation, these young people receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit, strengthening them to live the Gospel with conviction!
