This week’s Today’s Catholic covers the papal visit to Great Britain and the beatification of Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman. The diocesan Confirmation rally, coordinated by the offices of Youth Ministry and Spiritual Formation and Catechesis, was held in Winona Lake on Sept. 18 with over 1,000 in attendance. In South Bend, a Catholic and Mennonite dialogue was held at St. Matthew Cathedral. The Christ Child Society is coordinating an initiative in Elkhart to distribute coats, hats and mittens. Astronaut Michael Good visited Queen of Angels School in Fort Wayne.
