This week’s issue covers the canonization of St. André Bessette in Vatican City on Oct. 24. Several from the Congregation of Holy Cross were present for the canonization. The diocese is involved in a car raffle to help fund scholarships for those wishing to attend World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain. The diocese recently was found to be in compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. St. Adalbert Parish will celebrate its 100th anniversary in November. Saint Joseph’s High School has been named a top 50 best Catholic secondary school by the National Catholic High School Honor Roll.
