This week’s Today’s Catholic covers the canonization of Brother André Bessette, a Holy Cross Brother from Canada. Brother André is the first saint of the Congregation of Holy Cross to be canonized. The canonization is Oct. 17. Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades continues his parish visits including St. Rose of Lima in Monroeville and St. Louis Besancon in New Haven on Oct. 10. Bishop Rhoades had his first-ever ride on a combine, which was harvesting corn in a nearby field. St. Paul of the Cross Parish in Columbia City is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.
