Ground Breaks for Tippmann Group
On an overcast day on Wednesday, August 20, there was nothing but excitement as ground was officially broken and blessed for the new Tippmann Group Corporate Office and Mary Cross Tippmann Foundation. Located in the 8900 block of North Clinton, near the intersection of Wallen Road and North Clinton, the building will be nearly 47,000 square feet and feature a beautiful pond, landscaping and a large parking area.

John Tippmann III, executive vice president of the Tippmann Group, welcomed everyone before introducing the four speakers, Community Development Division Director Jonathan Leist, Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker, Tippmann Group President John Tippmann Jr., and Bishop Rhoades.
Following the speeches, Bishop Rhoades in his address, prayed with those in attendance, said the blessing for the site, and then walked around and blessed the perimeter of the construction site with holy water. He then gave the closing blessing. To conclude the event, groundbreaking photos were taken with family members, the speakers, city council members, and other dignitaries who attended the event.
