Messy Family Project Webinar for parents
Oct. 24 & 25, 8:30 to 10:00 PM over Zoom
Would you like to hone your parenting skills and renew your vision of the vocation of raising children today? Put the kids to bed, grab a glass of your favorite beverage, and join Mike and Alicia Hernon, parents of ten and co-founders of the Messy Family Project, for a free, live, workshop over Zoom on Saturday evening, Oct. 24 and Sunday evening, Oct. 25 from 8:30 to 10:00 PM. Here is the line-up:
Saturday, October 24: Messy Parenting 101
Sharing wisdom born from their personal experience Mike and Alicia share practical advice, encouragement, and tools to enable spouses to collaborate so they can make a plan to parent their children without losing their minds. Their presentation will be followed by time for each couple to discuss privately some issues raised in the presentation, and then the session will conclude with 30 min. of Q & A with Mike and Alicia.
Sunday, October 25: Keeping Love Alive
When parents strengthen their marriage, they are able to love their children more effectively and create a community of faith and love within the home. In this session, Mike and Alicia remind couples of the beauty of marriage, give practical ways to renew the well and demonstrate the effect marriage has on the culture within the family. Their presentation will be followed by time for each couple to discuss privately some issues raised in the presentation, and then the session will conclude with 30 min. of Q & A with Mike and Alicia.
This two-part workshop is free, but registration is required at https://www.messyfamilyproject.org/workshops-fortwayne/.
If you are not able to join in person, sign up anyway and you will receive the recording of both sessions. For questions, please contact Lisa Everett at [email protected] or 574-234-0687.
