A Sensory-Friendly Mass is celebrated every Sunday at 1:30pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Parishioners of St. Vincent and non-parishioners are welcome. A Sensory-Friendly Mass provides a safe, comfortable, and stigma-free environment for children and adults with sensory challenges, mental illness, or any kind of disability to feel engaged and experience Mass in a meaningful way with family and caregivers. This Mass offers special accommodations like low lights, no bells or music (singing or instrumental), no incense and a short homily.
