Cost: Donation of choice

The Confraternity of Penitents has been given unfired clay statuary of saints and angels, to be painted, glazed, and fired. Those wishing to paint or glaze a statue should contact the confraternity and select the statue desired. They may then come to complete the painting and glazing process in the Schoenle Parlor in Mary’s Glen at 2514 Reynolds Street, Fort Wayne. When the statue is complete, it will be fired and the painter can then take it home. The Confraternity will provide all materials, paints, glazes, instruction, and firing. Statues include St. Anthony of Padua (16″, 3 statues), St. Patrick (18″, 1 statue); Sacred Heart (16″, 1 statue); St. Francis of Assisi (16″, 1 statue), Our Lady of Grace (24″, 1 statue), St. Therese of Liseaux (16″, 2 statues), Bust of Christ (6″, 2 statues), Bust of the Praying Madonna (10″, 1 statue), and pair of wall cherubs (8″ each).
