The Father Solanus Guild is presenting St. Mary’s Catholic Church and SS. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Church in Huntington with plaques honoring the presence and service of Blessed Solanus Casey, OFM Cap. We recognize his 120th Anniversary of Ordination (1904), 70th Anniversary since his Golden Jubilee (1954), while a resident of St. Felix Monastery, and his Golden Jubilee Mass celebration at St. Mary’s and a Golden Jubilee Luncheon at SS. Peter & Paul’s on July 28, 1954, prepared by the Third Order of Franciscans. Come to Huntington and celebrate with the Guild our Annual Feast Day Event of Blessed Solanus’ special Anniversaries and memories of his life and spirituality. A recently published book by Richard Beemer (and co-authored by Linda Leist) will be available at SS. Peter & Paul’s and at the Guild Bookstore at St. Felix Catholic Center.
