Local author Gracie Jagla will be reading her new Catholic children’s book, “God the Father and the Best Day Ever!” on Thursday, March 12, at 6 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Bookstore, 915 S. Clinton St. A fun event for the whole family, this book about the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus is the perfect kickoff to Lent. Gracie will be reading the book aloud, complete with all its insights and secrets, and will be available after to sign copies. All children and families welcome.
