James Matthew Wilson, award-winning scholar of philosophical theology and literature, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the University of Saint Francis. Wilson will discuss “Beauty, the Foundation of the West,” as part of the 2019-2020 Annual Alverno Lecture. The event is free and open to the public. The lecture will be in USF’s Parkview Physicians Group Auditorium, Room 226, Achatz Hall of Science and John and Toni Murray Research Center.
