University of Saint Francis Nativity Exhibition

An exhibition will be available from November 4 to December 20, and will display works that focus on interpretations of the Nativity as a spiritual and artistic theme. On December 24, 1223, St. Francis of Assisi staged the first Living Nativity scene. Complete with live animals and human participants, he created this scene to cultivate the worship of Christ. The galleries will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 22 to Sunday, Nov. 26 in observance of Thanksgiving.

The Sisters of St. Francis will offer a discernment retreat the weekend of November 10-12 at the St. Francis Convent. A Discernment Retreat is a beautiful opportunity to spend time away with the Lord and allow Him to speak to your heart. The retreat consists of three conferences preached by a visiting priest on the topics of how to discern and grow in prayer. The Sacraments and Eucharistic Adoration are available as well as an opportunity to talk with the young Sisters and other young women who are discerning the Lord’s will in their lives.
