Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge

The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge is a competition designed for players to demonstrate the most basic of soccer skills; the penalty kick. Each player will be allowed shots at goal from the penalty line. The goal will be sectioned into 5 scoring zones. The upper corners will be designated as 20 point zones, the lower corners will be designated as 10 point zones and the central region is a 5 point zone.
Forms will be available at the registration table on the day of the event at 10:30 a.m. Eligibility is based on age on 09/01/2023. Entrants may compete in only one council level event.

Mary’s Glen Spiritual Healing Chapel provides a place of prayer for people to heal from child loss including miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, illness, accident, or who feel that their own childhood has been lost or injured or who are praying for their children. Father Patrick Hake will offer Mass, bless the chapel, and dedicate it to the Holy Family who are an integral part of the spiritual healing.

A St. Patrick School Reunion will be held Sunday, September 23, from 1-4 p.m. in the Lyceum, 2120 S Harrison St. T-shirts will be available to purchase to honor the school. Sloppy Joe and a potluck for the side items will be offered. The $5 fee will cover the donation for the Lyceum, the sloppy joe and the paper products. There is Mass at 4:30 p.m. for those wishing to attend.

An interpreter for the deaf will be present this Sunday, September 24 at the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Matthew Cathedral, 1701 Miami St., South Bend, IN 46613. An interpreter from Community Services All Deaf (CSAD) provides ASL (American Sign Language). St. Matthew Cathedral Parish and the Diocesan Deaf Ministry offer these monthly Masses (on the second and fourth Sundays) and encourage people to extend the invitation to family and friends who are deaf.
