St. Gaspar will host a Fancy Fair Craft Bazaar and Famous Cookie Bar to support charities in the church at
10871 N State Rd 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tables are set up in the church hall and classrooms and rented to “crafters” who sell their quality homemade items such as jewelry, fall and Christmas decorations, clothing, religious items, kitchen and bath items, etc. Patrons purchase these items directly from the vendors.
St. Gaspar’s is famous for their homemade cookies donated by parishioners (12 dozen each). Patrons pay for either a large box $10 or a small box $8 and are given food service gloves to pick and choose the kinds of cookies to fill up their box.
Round tables are set up in front of the hall kitchen for patrons to eat lunch. The kitchen counter bar is staffed by the Rosary Sodality members who serve homemade soup, sloppy joe sandwiches and hot dogs, and a variety of pies. Drinks are available as well.
Charities annually funded by the Rosary Sodality are: Helping Hands, Noble House, Sisters of St. Joseph, Life and Family Services, St. Martin Health Care in Garrett, Ascension Living Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, school supplies and warm clothing for local school children in need as well as helping fund St. Gaspar Church projects and parishioners in need.
