As the song says; “she’s as corny as Kansas in August…” married to the guy she fell for in high school, managing a family of four so close to their parish, the church steeple casts a shadow over their four acre homestead complete with a porch swing’s Hoosier view of day’s end in Indiana. That is the quiet side of Jennifer Simerman’s life, the Diocesan Secretary of Communications. This Indiana University graduate has 15 years experience in marketing, communications, fund raising and what it takes to lead, plead and meet the needs of life in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.
