Deb Wagner

Freelance Writer

Deb Wagner began writing for Today's Catholic in 2004. She enjoys writing about current events in the diocese because what she learns in reporting on the events enriches her own faith. Her passion for writing began in middle school, when she turned a simple writing assignment aimed toward personal goals into a testament of her faith. More recently, she has had articles related to the use and benefit of service dogs in gaining or maintaining independence published in books and magazines. Deb has a wonderful message to share with professionals on topics such as: “Communication is Doggone Easy;” “Cerebral Palsy + Service Dog = Perfect Partnership;” “Overcoming Childhood Bullying;” “Being Different Is Not Easy — But Friends Are A Choice;” “Recognizing Change Is Possible;” and “Living With Hope.” With a master's degree in counseling psychology, she has been blessed with gainful employment in corporate marketing for decades.
