Vatican official visits Hispanic diocesan leaders, laity

Archbishop Octavio Ruiz Arenas, secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization, visited various Hispanic ministry parishes this past weekend and spoke with priests, laity and parishioners. He began with Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Warsaw. On Friday, Sept. 16, Archbishop Ruiz Arenas spoke with the priests and laity who work with Hispanic parish communities throughout the diocese. All gave a warm welcome to the Vatican official, and shared historical background as well as present projects happening within the Hispanic diocesan parishes.
